Internal Family SystemS (IFS) & the orchestra
Imagine yourself as an orchestra, made up of many different parts—each with its own musician, sound, history, role, and purpose.
Through attachment wounds, trauma, and the expectations placed upon us, some parts can become burdened and take on roles they were never meant to carry alone.
Some musicians begin to play too loudly. Some grow quiet. Some learn to play a different song entirely—controlling, pleasing, rebelling, withdrawing, or protecting.
Healing is not about silencing the instruments or getting rid of the parts.
It is about helping each musician feel seen, understood, and safe enough to step out of the extreme roles they have taken on—and, over time, to trust the conductor again.

And there she is
And finally enough of the cloud has lifted to see the Sun.
You blink your eyes. Pause.
And there She is.
Taking up her space. Standing beside you.
Leaning toward you with a compassion that lets you see clearly
what you endured, what happened to you, without becoming it again.
A stillness opens in the space between your eyes.
A calmness—so sweet, so longed for— you almost forgot
it was yours.
internal Family SystemS (IFS) & the Airplane
Imagine yourself as an airplane made of many parts. Every part has a purpose. When those parts are working together, the airplane has integrity. It can fly.
You are like that airplane.
You have many parts of you. Each is trying to protect you, carry you, and help you move through the world.
Trauma can burden your parts, pulling them out of alignment and into roles that become increasingly extreme as they try to protect you. Some become frightened and retreat into the shadows. Some take over. Some rebel. Some are pushed away, forgotten, or shamed.
Healing begins when your Self can come forward and your parts can experience its presence. As they learn to trust Self-leadership, they can begin to soften. They no longer have to work so hard to protect you. When they are ready, they can release the burdens they have been carrying and reclaim the qualities and roles that are natural to them.
Slowly, your parts can begin to work together again—not because any part has been silenced or left behind, but because they no longer have to carry everything alone.
And the whole of you can fly.
